Annual toy drive (12/4/23 to 12/8/23)

Participate in South High’s Annual Toy Drive! Donate an unused and unopened toy for ages newborn to 18 years old. You will receive 1 hour of credit for every toy you donate. You can only donate up to 3 toys!!!

Location: South High School 

There will be red/green boxes found around the school in various areas: K and F wings, library, and admin office

When: December 4, 2023 to December 8, 2023 

Proof Required: Take a picture of you turning in a toy!

Winteract event (12/8/23)
Attend the Winteract event hosted for the Interact Clubs of TUSD schools! Participate in the games and earn prizes! Admission to this event is $7 with food/desserts included. This event counts as 2 hours of event credit.

Holiday Loving (12/8/23)

Help provide basic essentials to families and youth in the South Bay at this even through Community Loving!

REINDEER GAMES (12/22/23)

Plan and run your own game booth during school at lunch! Get a group of friends and design a carnival game! This counts for 2 hours of event credit.

Location: South High Mall

When: Friday, December 22, 2023

RSVP:  turn in the form  to L3 by 11/17 and let a board member know (if you didn’t get it at the meeting get it from L3)

Proof Required: Take a picture of you at the event!

Regular events:

Seaside HeroEs park CLEAN UP: (Second Saturday each month)
Spend a morning at Seaside hero’s park with your friends and participate in beautifying the park (pulling out weeds, picking up trash, etc.). You do not need to RSVP for this event. This counts as 3 hours of event credit.
-Proof Required: Take a picture of yourself of you with your friends at the event and submit it to the google form to receive credit

Smile Meals
Show your appreciation to your friends --including non Interact members-- by delivering a homemade meal or dessert along with an encouraging note. Make sure to stay safe when meeting with others. Each delivery will amount to one hour of credit. Each delivery must be a different dessert/meal. This event is limited to three hours per semester. 
-Proof Required: Take a picture of your friend and the homemade meal/dessert and submit it to the google form to receive credit.

walteria ELEMentary fall carnival (10/27/23)
Help run food/game stations or clean up at the Walteria Elementary Annual Fall Carnival!Shifts range from 6pm-8pm (carnival) or 8pm-9pm (clean up). Contact a board member to sign up.

SOUTH HIGH CANNED FOOD DRIVE (10/30/23 to 11/15/23)
Donate 5 cans to the South High Annual Canned Food Drive for 2 hours of event credit! Turn in your cans at K-1, make sure to write “Interact Club” on them and your class (Ex. 24).
Limit: 2 hours (5 cans)
Proof Required: Keep your slip from K-1 (must say INTERACT) and submit a picture to the google form!

Turkey trot (11/23/23)
Volunteer at the Torrance Thanksgiving Turkey Trot!

You will be assigned to one of various areas to volunteer:

1. Race Course

2. Check In Booth

3. Start/Finish Line

4. VIP Booth

5. T-Shirt Distribution Booth

This event counts as 3 hours of event credit.
